Villapalooza is the invigorating culmination of all Little Village has to offer. This 2 day festival brings together over 30 local artists, 40 musical performances, and the most authentic Mexican flavors our community has to offer. Villapalooza is dedicated to promoting non-violent spaces for arts, culture, and community engagement. As a result, the festival is produced entirely by volunteers, community organizers, educators, artists, and youth.
Villapalooza is one of the fastest growing festivals in the city of Chicago. Nearly half of LV residents are under the age of 25 which is the foundation of this grassroots festival.
Entering its 8th year, Villapalooza 2018 is expected to attract more than 35,000 attendees over the 2 days as it returns to 26th street across five city blocks and the main corridor of the Midwest’s largest Mexican community.
